This policy explains what information we collect when you use Website in a Day, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

1. What We Collect

2. How We Use It

We don't sell your information to third parties, and we don't use your business contact details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

The details you enter at checkout are held by Stripe as part of your payment and subscription record, and copied into our internal client records (Notion). Anything you email us sits in our business email account. Your website itself is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. These providers may process data outside Australia as part of their standard infrastructure.

4. Third Parties We Use

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery
• Notion — internal client record keeping
• Microsoft Clarity — website analytics, heatmaps and session recordings
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising measurement
• Google — advertising measurement and web fonts

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

5. Cookies & Tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, both to make the site work and to measure our advertising:

• Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session recordings and heatmaps — essentially how visitors move through and click on the page — so we can see where the site is confusing and fix it. Clarity masks text input by default.
• Meta Pixel tells us when someone who saw one of our ads visits this site or completes a purchase, so we can measure whether our advertising is working.
• Google Ads tags may be used for the same purpose if we advertise on Google.

These tools tell us about patterns in behaviour and about ad performance. They aren't used to build a personal profile of you, and we don't sell any of this data. You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Clarity's data collection at Microsoft's privacy centre. Blocking them won't stop the site from working.

6. Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to see what information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (noting that deleting core business details may mean we can no longer host your site). Email media@velinx.net to make a request.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal purposes, after which it's deleted or anonymised.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version.
